It's not my favorite part, but I've found that having a handy list can make a world of difference. With a simple guide to keep track of ideas, my shopping it a little more organized and also more enjoyable.

Navigating the Feelings of Christmas

As I sit here in my kitchen, listening to the pitter-patter of rain, I find myself reflecting on the whirlwind that was November. Beaver Moon: Full Moon in November

Did you know that each full moon of the year has its own unique name? I have to admit, I didn't realize this myself until I started homeschooling my boys. I always knew about the full moons, but I had no idea that each month's moon has its own special name and meaning. When is the full moon? The full moon will be big and bright in the sky on Friday, November 15, 2024. This year we are in for a special treat because it's our last Supermoon for the year! The Beaver Moon This month's full moon is called the Beaver Moon. The name comes from this time of year when beavers are busy preparing for winter by gathering food and building a cozy shelter to keep warm. Beavers make sure they have everything they need to get through the season, just like us chopping wood and making delicious soup in preparation for the cold weather.
